Centre of Deaf Education

Avenues College is one of two secondary sites in South Australia with a designated “Centre of Deaf Education.”

The centre caters to students from Year 7 to Year 12 and offers a variety of learning pathways. Students have access to all of the school’s programs, including all school and SACE subjects, VET (Vocational Education and Training), and extracurricular activities.

We provide a high-quality bimodal/bicultural inclusive program, delivered and supported by highly qualified staff, to ensure the education and wellbeing of our Deaf and Hard of Hearing students are of the highest standard.
