About our school
Our school proudly stands on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. We pay our respects to their spiritual relationship with their country, recognising them as the first educators of this land. We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the Adelaide region, and we honour their ongoing cultural and heritage beliefs, which remain vital to the living Kaurna community today.

Our facilities
Many of our facilities have been upgraded since their original construction in the 1960s, ensuring a modern, inspiring environment for learning.
We boast an advanced industrial kitchen, well-equipped technology workshops and digital suites, numerous scientific laboratories, a gymnasium, sports fields and courts, and a state-of-the-art music performance suite – including a recording studio and instrumental practice rooms. Our multipurpose Resource Centre supports diverse learning needs.
As a Birth to Year 12 school, we have a purpose-built preschool connected to the Avenues College Children’s Centre. Primary students have access to all specialised learning areas across the college.
From 2025, our secondary classrooms will be renewed into innovative teaching spaces designed to support 21st-century learning and prepare students for the future.
